If you love slide parks, you’ll love this one! Here you can slide and jump in a natural stream in a gorge surrounded by 2 000-metre mountains. We wade down the creek following the stream’s path, cross and descend in waterfalls, slide on water-smoothed rocks, and jump or either rappel down into crystal clear natural pools.

➜ Tour description
If you’re taking part in the canyoning tour only: we meet up at our base (which is also your accommodation if you’re staying at the hotel by our base), where you’ll arrive in your swimsuit (under your clothes). Here we will distribute the necessary equipment for the tour (neoprene bottom, top, shoes, helmet, harness) and after everyone has changed, we will set off for the tour, everyine in their own car, in a convoy with us in the lead.
If you’re taking partin in the canyoning and rafting tour as well (on the same day): after the rafting tour, you don’t even have to get yourself out of your neoprene suit – you can get into your car at the end of the tour and go on the canyoning tour with the canyoning team tour guide in the familiar convoy format. 😉 It’s a good idea to pack a sandwich or snack for lunch between the two tours, after the canyoning tour you’ll have the opportunity to rest up and have a relaxing dinner at one of the restaurants in the area.
On arrival at the tour site, we will park the cars, have a safety and technical training, then grab our harness and start the tour, starting with a 15-minute walk up to the canyon’s entry point. The tour will include everything as we make our way down the creek bed: sliding, jumping, rope descents, spider walks, and everything you need for an adult water adventure park! 😉
At the end of our tour, we’ll arrive back to our cars – from where we’re free to head back to our base for a nice rest or a restaurant nearby for a cozy dinner.

Participation requirement: swimming knowledge and extreme sports insurance. No prior qualifications required. Children 12 years and older are welcome to participate.
Date: tours are organized every weekend during the season from June to September, also on Thursday and Friday during high season (July-August).
Minimum number of participants: a minimum of 6 participants are required for the tour.
Duration: we will spend about 2-2.5 hours in the canyon. The tour can also be combined with a rafting tour – even on the same day, if you want to maximise the amount of adventure you can squeeze into one day!
Difficulty: the tour is recommended for people of average fitness, we will have a short hike up to the entrance of the canyon of about 15-20 minutes.
Meals: breakfast is provided for guests staying at the accommodation by our base, half board with dinner is available on request as well. Lunch is arranged individually – there are several restaurants in the area where you can have a nice meal.
Weather: the tour can generally be held regardless of the weather, but in the event of extreme rainfall the tour may have to be modified or postponed.
Insurance: extreme sports insurance is a must to participate on the tour.

The three-star accommodation in Göstling an der Ybbs is located in a postcard-perfect, tranquil setting among the stunning mountains of the Ybbstal Alps, right on the banks of a stream.
The accommodation offers rooms with 1-2-3-4 beds, each room has a private bathroom.
Breakfast buffet is included in the price. Half-board is also available if you want to end the day with a dinner menu from the on-site restaurant, and you can also enjoy a cocktail in the bar.
The accommodation is surrounded by hiking and cycling trails in all directions, and there are plenty of relaxing activities in the area, from swimming to water parks.

Meeting: on the day of the tour at 8:30 / 13:00. If you stay at our base, we recommend arriving the day before, but you can arrive even earlier.
By public transport
There are no bus stops near the canyoning tour site, so we do not recommend arriving by public transport for this tour.

› Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
› If the participant is between 14 and 18 years of age, we can organise the tour with parental consent.
› Signing the participation form on site before the tour is also a declaration of swimming ability and physical fitness.
The participant acknowledges that he/she may be involved in an accident on our tours and that he/she participates at his/her own risk.
The participant is obliged to inform the guide of any medication, the consumption of substances affecting performance and concentration, or any illness that may temporarily reduce the state of consciousness or physical ability.
The guide has the right to exclude from the tour, for the entire duration of the tour, any person who, by disregarding the instructions given, endangers his/her own safety or that of others, endangers the equipment or does not comply with the guide’s instructions in this respect.
Validity of reservations:
We can organize the canyoning tour with a minimum of 6 participants, so as long as the required number of participants is not met, no deposit need to be paid for reservation. If the required number of participants is reached, we will contact you and we will then ask you to pay the deposit of 30 EUR in advance. The remaining amount will be due on the spot.
Guarantee:
If the tour is cancelled due to the fault of our company, the paid participation fee will be refunded by our company.
Cancellation policy (by the guest):
In the event of cancellation, the canceller will be liable to pay a forfeit to cover the costs incurred, which is a flat rate expressed as a percentage of the total participation fee, as follows:
› between the 60th and 31st day before the date of the tour, 20% of the participation fee
› 70% of the participation fee between the 30th and the 16th day
› 90% of the participation fee between the 15th and the 8th day
› 100% of the participation fee within 7 days, but the reserved place may be transferred to a third party, provided that the third party meets the requirements of participation in the tour.
In the case of rebooking to another date, if the rebooker or our company can find participants for the vacant places, the full amount paid may be transferred to the other date, but if there are no other applicants for the vacant places, the rebooking will be considered as a cancellation, subject to the above conditions.
It is strongly recommended that you take out travel cancellation insurance with an insurer to cover the costs incurred in the event of illness or accident.
Statement:
For the safety of participants, we reserve the right to change the tour plan.
We reserve the right to cancel a tour or programme for reasons beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather conditions or unforeseeable natural phenomena, technical difficulties). In this case, an alternative date may be chosen or the participation fee paid will be refunded.
